I have been an artist for many
years , it has been a long journey with ups and downs but I hope some day I will be
able to be a full time artist .I was born in Peru South America many moons ago and I have been living in
California U.S.A for so
long that sometimes it seems like yesterday that I arrived here ....30 years ago !.

I like to work in acrilic and oil but this days I'm
working mostly in ink and color pencil,I'm interested in the human face and in the human figure I like
to show the many changes in expression and the many layers sometimes we have in our faces like having
different masks to face the outside world how we show different emotions or the lack of them ,for
example the many faces we show to different people .I like the human face and I use it in my composition and
I like to use it in the many shapes and colors I see in the human face ,I like to catch those moments frozen
in time in the shape of masks .

On this home page I want to introduce myself
and show some of my work.
In the last 15 years I have lived
mostly in Northern California .I attended Art Schools first in Lima-Peru at La Universidad Catolica Del Peru
,Escuela De Artes Plasticas ( now Facultad De Arte) then In the seventies at California College Of Arts And
Crafts ( now College of Art )in Oakland - California . I like having a web site because this give me the
chance to show some of my Art Work and reach other people interested in other people's art Work .
